FotoLum, Inc. is a small woman-owned company that specializes in the development of innovative safety products for low light and
dark conditions. Our photo luminescent vinyl is manufactured using a proprietary
process to create a vinyl that is soft and pliable. The vinyl produces
illumination levels that exceed the UL 924 and ASTM 2073 requirements for photo
luminescent emergency signs and markings. FotoLum™ then applies 3M™ Scotchlite™
reflective to the photo luminescent vinyl to provide the ULTIMATE IN SAFETY! Our
G-50 series vinyl is NFPA 1971-2000 compliant for convective heat exposure,
fluorescence, and retro-reflectivity. The G-40 series vinyl is used for
industrial and consumer applications.
FotoLum™ also offers a line of photo luminescent non-skid
products that meet and exceed the New York City Building Code Standard Local Law
26. Our premium non-skid tape uses recycled automobile windshield glass and our
photo luminescent crystals to provide a long lasting non-skid tape that also
provides illumination in dark conditions. The non-skid plates and stair treads
have a photo luminescent epoxy on an aluminum base that provides a non-skid
surface that will illuminate in the dark and last for years.
